Description

Colmac Coil is a privately held, third generation, family-owned company founded in 1971 that has grown to be one of the world's leading manufacturers in the new and replacement coil markets. Colmac Coil's 225,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is located in Colville, Washington. Our facility is set up for flexible coil assembly. Rather than being restricted to standard modular units produced on high speed production lines, our customers have the option of ordering equipment customized to meet their specific requirements.

Colmac is a world leader in the design and manufacture of heat exchanger coils used in food chilling, and freezing applications. Our unique offering of tube and fin patterns coupled with our wide range of tube and fin materials allows Colmac to meet the needs of virtually any application. Colmac continues to develop innovative coil solutions for the food processing industry. Corrosion resistant construction for coils subjected to harsh cleaners such as sodium hypochlorite and/or potassium hydroxide are available.

Colmac Coil manufactures new and replacement plate fin heating and cooling coils, dry coolers, air-cooled condensers, and heat pipe air-to-air heat exchangers for the commercial, industrial, and heat transfer markets. Colmac Coil also manufactures A+ Series™ Air Coolers, custom evaporators, unit coolers, blast freezers, tube bundles, and hydrocoolers for the Freon, ammonia, and glycol/brine commercial and industrial refrigeration markets.

In 2009, Colmac Coil purchased the Aircoil™ evaporator line from Baltimore Aircoil Company. We also purchased the former BAC manufacturing facility in Paxton, Illinois, which now manufactures our complete product line. The Pacific Northwest location provides close proximity to west coast ports for shipping to Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Our Midwest factory in Illinois has proven to be ideal for serving customers in the eastern U.S. and Canada.

In addition to the heat transfer and refrigeration industries, we serve a number of vital markets that include aeronautics, beverage, communications, dairy, electronics, energy reclamation, food processing, gas compression, health care, hospitality, industrial process, packaging, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, power generation, pulp and paper, waste and water treatment. We specialize in applications that require quality levels beyond that which is available with commercial grade equipment.
