CRABAPPLE TUTORING

Description

We are proud partners in education with the following schools. As a partner with our local schools, we provide volunteer time in support of school needs, we sponsor teacher of the year awards and most improved student of the year award, and we provide snacks for the entire staff throughout the school year.

"As a principal of a middle school, it is important that my students are organized, focused, and have the basic skills to be successful. Crabapple Tutoring has worked with us as a "Partner in Education" and helped us meet the needs of our students by organizing and presenting Study Skills and Organizational Seminars for both parents and students. During PTSA meetings, while teachers were greeting parents, students attended a study skills / organizational session provided by Crabapple Tutoring.

We exist to make a significant difference in our community by providing tutoring services that help our students to better compete in an ever changing, more complex society. We pledge to our students, parents, schools, community and business leaders that we will accomplish this mission through conducting our daily activities guided by the following values.

Erik is a member of the Advisory Board of the Information management Forum (IMF), an international association of CIOs from some of the world’s leading companies (e.g. IBM, HP and 3M). IMF is dedicated to advancing the state of the art in the deployment and management of IT resources. Erik is currently a guest lecturer at Kennesaw State University in the Atlanta area in IT strategic planning.

Parent / School Communications: The Director of Learning or your student’s tutor will conference with you every 10 hours of tutoring to provide a detailed picture of your child’s progress. Students are also given a progress assessment, free of charge, after the completion of 40 hours of instruction to measure growth in each skill area. As part of our services, we share, with your signed consent, student test scores, goals and objectives with teachers and school personnel.
