Arcata Main Street is a grass roots effort of local merchants to stimulate economic conditions in the core downtown, providing and fostering community events and civic beautification projects. Arcata Main Street fosters and encourages support of our local economy as a means to retaining our identity and building a strong community.Rick and I began construction on C.R. Chicks at the end of August, 1992. We personally built the tables, booths, sailboats, beachchairs, partition walls, bar and soffit and did all of the tile work and painting. We extend the same care and dedication to our food. We prepare all of our sauces, bread, croutons, dressings, soups and accompaniments. We hope you enjoy our labor of love!
