About Claremont Savings Bank Founded in 1907 in Claremont, New Hampshire, Claremont Savings Bank is a full-service financial partner offering a variety of retail deposit products, specialized lending solutions and convenience services designed for both personal and business banking customers.

Yates, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Brattleboro Savings and Loan Association, agreed that the transaction is a logical change. “As community banks, both institutions are committed to providing exceptional service to customers. This transaction increases our capital and allows us to refine our focus on our core market, where we are making significant investments to make community banking a more convenient and rewarding experience for our customers.

This gift covered a substantial portion of the $10 million total it would cost for the development and construction of the new building located on property at the corner of Broad Street and South Street, which was also donated by CSB. Construction of the Claremont Savings Bank Community Center began in early 2012 after a very mild winter allowed for an early ground breaking. Claremont Savings Bank helped to celebrate an early 2013 Grand Opening of the Center.
