C.S. Farmer Construction Company was originally founded and incorporated in Michigan in 1975 as Conmer Construction. In the early 1980's, the firm's owner, Charles Farmer II, relocated the company to Jamaica to begin a focus on hotel and hospitality construction with clients from the United States. Conmer Construction remained in Jamaica for two decades and expanded its focus to include health care and school construction.
