(The numbers are calculated using generally accepted accounting principles.)People helping people is the credit union way. And, for us, being the people who help people is the only way we know how to operate. In 2005, for example, we contributed $100,000 to the Credit Union Tsunami Relief Fund, $150,000 to Hurricane Katrina efforts and a $100,000 sponsorship for the National Credit Union Foundation.
