A History of Integrity & Innovation In 1977, after dedicating more than 20 years of active service to the local construction industry, Charles A. Lewis, Sr. founded C.A. Lewis, Inc. as a general contracting firm to serve eastern North Carolina. C.A. Lewis began his company with a philosophy of listening to the needs of his clients first, then delivering services in a manner and timetable that benefitted them. This philosophy of "Client First" quickly earned Lewis a well-deserved reputation for being able to perform extremely difficult renovation while maintaining the client's daily operations.
