Melissa has served as the principal component in managing payroll and the employee benefits package for CI Travel and its divisions for over 26 years. During this time Melissa has received several Employee of the Quarter awards for outstanding performance; was recognized as the 1997 Employee of the Year; has served two terms on the Board of Directors; is a member of the ESOP Committee and was named Director of Human Resources in 2010.

McKinnon's 35 year career, which began as a Vice President with (currently) Bank of America, transitioned and developed through Senior and Group Vice President Positions with Central Fidelity, Wells Fargo and Heritage banks. Her development of aggressive sales and marketing plans for Bank of America led to an increase of assets under management from $20m to $250m, earning her the Statewide Hall of Fame and Top Five Regional Group Producer 1985 -1992.
