The firm's litigation chair, Jeffrey Portnoy , has practiced at Cades Schutte since 1972 and offers seasoned expertise in such civil litigation areas as employment law, professional liability, intellectual property, and First Amendment issues. Additional accolades for Portnoy include his experience in appellate law, demonstrated through his previous position as the representative to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for the State of Hawaii.
