CAE Sound is dedicated to keeping your newer and vintage gear alive! We specialize in providing repair service, replacement parts, and New Custom Products for amplifiers, keyboards, effects gear, and custom accessories — for both vacuum-tube and solid-state equipment.

Peter and his staff are passionate about music and music electronics. Always fascinated by music, Peter became hooked on electronic music when he witnessed the birth of the Music Synthesizer. He started his own PA Company and began working with local bands. He soon began doing contract repair service on Hammond organs for Sherman & Clay Co., followed by stint with Magic Music Machines, San Francisco’s largest musical instrument repair company. With a couple year’s experience under his belt, Peter broke out on his own and began building CAE Sound.

We specialize in the repair and restoration of vintage instruments, including many that are no longer supported or that come from manufacturers that have gone out of business.

Over the years, as some manufacturers either went out of business or discontinued support for older equipment, CAE Sound stepped in to fill the gap by remanufacturing — even fabricating — the parts required to keep this vintage gear alive. The result is one of the most unique and comprehensive inventory of vintage equipment parts in the world — many of which can be found nowhere else.
