IDC is a privately held General Industrial Construction firm founded in 1988 with a primary focus in mechanical construction. The company is headquartered in Prairieville, LA, with a regional office in Deer Park, TX. The parties negotiated a full acquisition of IDC by Cajun, allowing the current company management to remain, along with all field staff and craftsmen.

Cajun was founded in 1973 as a merit shop company specializing in structural concrete. Today, Cajun is a nationally recognized construction leader providing a broad range of services to various markets, including government works, water quality, power, manufacturing and industrial. As a specialty contractor in heavy civil, mechanical and deep foundation construction, customers rely on Cajun's meticulously maintained equipment, proven project management procedures and sound financial resources for excellent results.

Cajun Industrial Design & Construction, LLC (Cajun IDC) is a full-service general industrial contractor and wholly owned subsidiary of Cajun Constructors. Cajun IDC is headquartered in Prairieville, LA, and has a regional office in La Porte, TX. Cajun IDC has performed work in a variety of industries including Refining, Chemical, Petro-chemical, Power Co-generation, Pulp and Paper, and Carbon Black.

After years of steady growth in all facets of the construction industry, Cajun's expertise expanded, especially in the areas of deep foundation, marine work and equipment hauling. When we weren't doing the work for ourselves, we found many companies subcontracting Cajun for specialized work in the areas where we excelled. In 2007, Cajun created four companies and later added a fifth company in 2012. All companies operate under one holding company, which allows us to continue our overall construction work, but also concentrate on specialized areas important to our customers.
