Chestnut Mound Music was built by producer and publisher Eddie Crook and has yielded over 90 Number One hits and countless Top 20 and Top 40 hits in its 20 year history. Over the past decade alone, nearly 20% of the overall Southern Gospel Top 40 have been Chestnut Mound Music compositions. The list of artists who have recorded Chestnut Mound songs is a virtual "Who's Who" of Southern Gospel Music. Legends such as The Bishops, The McKameys, Dixie Echoes, The Issacs, the Fox Brothers, The Kingsmen, Gold City, The Anchormen, The Martins, The Greenes, The Perrys, The Crabb Family, Carroll Roberson and The Wilburns have all recorded Chestnut Mound songs.
