Jay earned his BS Engineering from Missouri State University, St. Louis. He has worked with Guy for over 26 years at various companies. He is an integral member of the Cal Tech Precision management team. Jay has over 31 years of machine shop experience including the purchase, planning and installation of large machines. He has 10 years Catia experience and many noted industry certifications. His diverse duties include all information technology functions, programming/engineering, facility and machine maintenance, purchasing and backup CMM Programmer/Operator.

Cal Tech Precision, Inc. manufactures for a global market, large and small, complex structural aerospace parts, measuring from as small as two inches by two inches, to parts over sixty feet long. Guy Haarlammert heads the company which was founded in 1998. With exceptional business and production management experience, he has put together a company with an infrastructure of dynamic and knowledgeable industry professionals. Culled from some of the most eminent aerospace manufacturing companies in Southern California, many members of the management team have forged strong working relationships together over the span of many years, and in some cases in over two decades.

Guy's career started in 1976 while attending Long Beach State University as a business major, while at the same time also working as a machinist programming and operating CNC machines. From 1980 until Cal Tech Precision was founded in 1998, Guy held a variety of management positions at various aerospace and manufacturing companies. During that time he participated in LEAN training at Boeing, Northrop. Cal Tech Precision forged strong relationships with prime aerospace companies that are still in place today.
