Cambridge Hotel

Description

The Cambridge Hotel is characterized by an upper and lower veranda facing our park and the historic train station. Built in 1885 by a local businessman, the hotel was considered modern for its time. It offered the public 40 guest rooms, fine dining, shops and the perfect place for various local activities. In the mid 1890's the hotel gave birth to the American "PIE A LA MODE" which became the culinary rage across the United States. In the summer of 1998, the local hotel began a years journey of total restoration. Today you have all the modern conveniences of our time but a turn of the century appearance. Our hotel has been designated as a national historic landmark so that future generations will always be able to enjoy some of the splendor of a bygone era.
