Bay City, Michigan 48706-2146 Phone (989) 684-5890 Fax (989) 684-5321 About Our Company Incorporated in July 1972 in a small pole building in Bay County, Michigan by John G. Cambron, James L. Waldie, and Errol A. Wood, the company started with only one other employee. With the added work force of five full-time employees and new equipment, they soon outgrew the small building. In 1975, Cambron Engineering moved to it's present location at 3800 Wilder Road, which contained approximately 6800 square feet. With the purchase of another building at 3804 Wilder Road and several expansions, Cambron Engineering now encompasses 33,000 square feet and employs approximately 65 people. On October 19, 1979, Errol Wood and James Waldie became sole owners of Cambron Engineering. On July 1, 1994, Wood and Waldie started an ESOP Program ("Employee Stock Ownership Program") and began to sell off shares previously owned by Wood and Waldie to the employees of Cambron Engineering. Today the employees of Cambron own approximately one-half of the company's stock. This will continue into the future until the company is 100% owned by the employees. Cambron Engineering is a high technological tool and die and custom machine shop, and also manufactures a product that was designed and patented in August of 1986 called the "Rollem" Oat Crimper. This Crimper is used for the crimping of oats and corn for the horse feed and agriculture industry. To date, over 650 of these machines have been sold throughout the world. Cambron Engineering is a full-service machine shop with the capability to design and build several different types of machines, tools, dies, and gauges. Cambron contains "state of the art" machines and well-trained employees, which allows the delivery of defect free, competitively-priced products and services, on time to the customers.
