Mecklenburg County offers a cost share program for those folks that live on or near McMullen Creek. McMullin Creek is the creek that run thru Cameron Wood and the Cameron Wood Pond. If your land backs up to the creek or you have a severe slope to your yard and significant runoff falls into the creek, you could possibly qualify for a cost share program. The Urban Cost Share Program is an incentive-based program to help landowners in approved watersheds address natural resource concerns on their properties.
