We provide the highest quality of full-service emergency care on both hospital campuses, 24 hours a day. We offer the full spectrum of care for neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, gynecological, pediatric, pulmonary, gastrointestinal and other emergencies. Each emergency center includes treatment rooms dedicated and equipped for trauma, pediatric, orthopedic, psychiatric and isolation patients.

Our goal as a community healthcare system is to provide education, screening, programs and services to help build healthy communities. This goal is realized through programs that identify risk factors for illness or injury, such as our HealthQuest Mobile Screening, The Screen Machine mobile cancer screening unit and screenings held at community outreach sites. We provide community health education at hospitals, employer sites and community group meetings. We also host a variety of support groups.

St. Joseph’s/Candler was awarded a $35,000 grant by It’s The Journey, Inc., producer of the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. The grant will go to the Telfair Mammography Fund, which helps uninsured women receive mammograms and other breast health treatment.
