A member of CannonDesign’s healthcare team for over 25 years, William Smeltz is dedicated to the development of innovative healthcare programs—from urban and academic medical centers to primary care centers and community-based hospitals. A recognized expert on the impact of managed care on medical facilities, he is particularly noted for his ability to incorporate functional and operational efficiencies into healthcare planning.

Robin Cibrano is Executive Director for the firm’s Eastern Region focused on developing CannonDesign’s strategic market-smart approach and maximizing resources, partnerships and opportunities for business development across the seven offices in the region. With three decades of experience in the practice of architecture, Mr. Cibrano has spent the vast majority of his career leading design and implementation for healthcare, education and corporate commercial clients throughout the nation. He brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities these projects present.

The announcement comes two years after the Al Faisaliah Group signed a strategic partnership with leading Harvard teaching hospitals represented by Partners Healthcare International, shaping AFG’s initiative to create a subsidiary company dedicated to providing integrated healthcare services to premier healthcare providers in the Kingdom and the Middle East.
