In business since 1981, Capitol Arts & Frames is a leader in manufacturing high-end, custom frames for artwork and mirrors. At Capitol, the production of each frame—from the milling of the moulding to fitting of the art/mirror in the finished frame—is managed, supervised and controlled on premises. Capitol’s 20,000 square foot facility is home to more than 40 artisans who master the art of woodwork, hand-carving, classic compo designs, gilding, finishing, matting and fitting. Since the raw moulding is manufactured on site, Capitol can create custom shapes to match the most detailed specifications provided by its clients. Finishes may include Genuine 12, 18 or 22-Karat Gold Leaf, Composition Metal Leaf, Stain, Paint, Natural or any combination called for by the project.
