Description

We provide repair and service for most types of pumps. From simple seal and bearing replacement to extensive shaft machining, wear ring and impeller repairs. One of our specialties is repairing submersible and sump pumps. We also offers application, installation, start-up and service of variable frequency drives on any pump application.

We have an in-house machine shop that provides mechanical repairs on the equipment we service. We have the capability to weld, metalize, and machine a shaft, end bell, bearing housing or cut a new keyway. We can machine complete new shafts. Many other mechanical modifications and repairs are available from our machine shop as well.

Capitol Electric Motor Repair has been in business since 1964. We sell, service and support all types and sizes of electric motors & generators, controls, and related driven equipment. We also provide services like vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, laser alignment, complete machining capabilities, crane & hoist service, pump, fan & gearbox repair and much more. We are proud to have customers from all types of industry.

At Capitol Electric Motor Repair , we stock AC motors from fractional to 1000 HP. These stock motors are primarily NEMA frame motors. In addition, we have access to all of our motor manufacturer’s warehouses that are strategically located across the nation. This inventory is available to us and our customers 24/7 for immediate shipment.

We stock a variety of new products, and utilize the manufacturer’s warehouse stock for backup. In most cases, we are a stocking distributor for the products that we promote, allowing us to pass along competitive prices, stock preference, as well as technical and administrative support from the manufacturer. In the event that we are not a distributor for a certain product, we will do our best to help you source the product you are looking for. We have staff on call 24/7 for emergencies.
