Description

The Permian Basin is located in West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. It has been producing oil for over 80 years with cumulative production of over 30 billion barrels. The Basin has produced over 6 billion barrels from the San Andres reservoir with over 2 billion barrels coming from the San Andres found on the Central Basin Platform. Capstone's focus is on properties that produce from the San Andres and other conventional reservoirs found on the Central Basin Platform.

With 35 years of diversified petroleum management experience, Mr. Wahl has particular experience in the Mid-Continent and Permian Basin areas. Mr. Wahl previously served as Vice President – Land for Arena Resources, Inc. and was responsible for all land related functions. Mr. Wahl also served as Land Manager of PITCO Investments Ltd. and Vice President of Trust Oil & Gas at Bank of Oklahoma. Mr. Wahl holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, and served five years as a U.S. Naval Aviator.
