The Capstone Mission is much bigger than sobriety alone. Sobriety is a symptom of a spiritually healthy heart just like drug abuse is a symptom of a spiritually unhealthy heart. Our mission is focused around the development of real Christian manhood. This manhood is rooted in the heart of "a lion and a lamb" and is lived-out in Christ-like husbandhood, daddyhood, and a life that pleases God. Our ultimate mission is to help each young man live a life that results in him hearing the "Well Done my good and faithful servant" from the Lord someday. Each day we know that we plant seeds with which God can produce growth in a resident's life years past their time at Capstone. We believe that our mission is our calling; to turn the setbacks of these battles into the comebacks that anchor families to Christ and unlock each son's God-given potential! Every aspect of Capstone reflects Jesus Christ, even though He is never forced on anyone. The whole Capstone experience cultivates spiritual growth, not religiosity. Spiritual growth experiences happen during all parts of the day at Capstone and with any staff person. Capstone is not associated with a church affiliation, just Christianity. Capstone is built on Biblical truths and principles accepted by all Christ-centered families.
