The Cardinal Shehan Center has been enriching the lives of children and families in the Greater Bridgeport Area for over 50 years.

For over 40 years the Cardinal Shehan Center has been running a Summer Day Camp program. Our goals are simple- we want to instill values of respect, honesty, and responsibility and help children gain self-confidence. In addition, we want to expose children to opportunities to participate in safe and fun activities that otherwise may be inaccessible to them. Children will be able to enjoy activities such as basketball, photography, tennis, golf, art, dance, science, math, literacy, fun field trips, and so much more this summer thanks to partners like you.

The Center serves 4,000 youth annually. It is through your support that we provide educational and recreational programs to further enrich the lives of children.

The purpose of Summer Day Camp is to provide a safe, fun, supervised environment for children ages 4-13. Our camp program is a place where children learn and grow while participating in a variety of educational and recreational activities. We strive to provide a medley of experiences for our campers, while keeping our camp fee at an affordable rate.
