Description
Widely known as the nation’s premier pediatric care facility, supporting The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia was a logical choice for the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP). The relationship with the Hospital began in 1986 with a contribution of $50,000 from the ADAGP. The Association continued to make annual contributions to the Hospital through its Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation which was incorporated in 2003. More than a quarter of a century later, total giving to the Hospital is over $5.8 million.
In 2007, our Board of Trustees made the decision to join forces with the Pennsylvania Automotive Association Foundation (PAAF), which was founded in 2002 and shares similar goals with our Foundation. The financial arrangement allows us to distribute grants in the Philadelphia area through PAAF. Below are some of our grant recipients.
