There are lots of things you can do—big and small—to make your community a cleaner, greener place. There are loads of resources on the internet about sustainability, recycling, environmental activism and more. Here are some of our favorites! What is sustainability? Sustainability means living in a way that is good for people, animals and the Earth today and always. Sustainable practices guarantee that enough resources will be available for the people of the future to keep living the way we live today. The Air We Breathe This downloadable picture book for young children introduces the atmosphere and the natural and man-made causes of smog and carbon dioxide production.
