CPT was established in 1978 by Jerry E. Melton. In 1980 they were able to build a 20,000 square foot building to manufacture paper tubes & cores. That same building has expanded to nearly 50,000 square feet and now contains some of the latest and most innovative equipment in tube and core manufacturing.
