Over the years most of our customers have asked CARON to supply technicians to remove and replace caps on our Pin?On® wheels. Recent times have forced some customers to utilize their own personnel in an attempt to save money. Since 2003 most of our product has been our patented MEGAMAX Pin?On® locking teeth which incorporates a mortise and tenon lock design on the cap to base assembly. These of course fit tightly together to enable us to guarantee field replacement of the caps reusing the original bases.

At Caron, meeting the special needs of today’s landfill operators is a primary objective. In response to requests for Caron quality in an economical weld-on tooth, Caron Compactor has introduced a full line of weld-on teeth that offer distinct advantages over the competition. One Piece Weld-On Teeth from Caron are available in both contour, traction and BMAX configurations in heights from 7” to 10”.

Caron Compactor was founded in the late 1960's when founder Fred Caron developed a self-propelled steel-wheeled soil and landfill compactor which was later sold to Rexworks—the predecessor of Terex. From soil to landfills, Mr. Caron brought his knowledge of the dynamics of compaction to the solid waste disposal industry.
