Shirley joined Carter & Company in September, 2008. Her career in the insurance industry began in 1959. Her nearly half century of service includes experience in personal property and commercial lines as both, a customer service underwriter and as a member of management in agencies as well as companies. For over twelve years she was Vice President and Director of the County Mutual Division of Northwestern National Insurance Company's regional office in Austin, Texas. Shirley is married, has one granddaughter and currently works in the Commercial Lines Department.
