Description
William G. Carter is a fifth-generation Oregonian. He grew up in the Rogue Valley and graduated from Medford High School in 1958. He attended the University of Oregon, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1962 and his Law Degree in 1965. He was a prosecutor in Douglas County for three years and since then has engaged in a general trial practice in Medford. He has served as Medford's Municipal Judge, done legal work for the cities of Ashland, Central Point and Gold Hill, represented State Farm Insurance Company in auto claims for a number of years, and engaged in an extensive family law practice. He currently specializes in mediation and arbitration and also serves as a pro tem Circuit Judge for Jackson County.
