Our independent providers at Cascade Natural Medicine specialize in Naturopathic Medicine in the areas of women's health and pediatrics. We provide comprehensive primary care services to the whole family.

During her time in Monterey, she spent 3 years at a UCSF teaching hospital in the neonatal ICU, Maternity Ward and Pediatrics Ward. This opportunity provided Dr. Mary Alison with the invaluable experience of working with a wide variety of children and infants and her time there was ultimately what drove her to study naturopathic medicine. The decision to go into medicine was not a difficult one for her. She is the first physician in her family, but if felt like a very natural career and life passion. She became a naturopathic physician because of her belief that the human body is intelligent, that patients are not pathology but people, and that life should be lived to its fullest. She believes that all children should be given the chance to thrive and fulfill their entire potential.

Drawing upon her experiences with both naturopathic and allopathic practices, Dr. Evershed brings a balance of medical interventions and naturopathic treatment to her treatment practices. Dr. Evershed loves working with infants and children and feels that it is the way to a healthier future for all. Much as holistic medicine looks at the health of the whole person, Dr. Evershed believes that working with kids offers the opportunity to look at the health of the whole family.
