Roy Case has been in practice in the United States since 1988. Originally an Architect and Land Planner by profession, Mr. Case is now a golf designer who is becoming renowned for his ability to work creatively and economically with difficult sites, both in golf-centered real estate developments, land recycling projects, and in pure golf layouts. His ability to create good golf on environmentally sensitive, and environmentally damaged sites, has met with great success, and has enabled golf courses to be built on land that was previously thought to be undevelopable. Mr. Case has produced thought provoking designs and profitable investments, in both the public and private sector. His courses have proved to be popular with all grades of golfers, including ladies, who appreciate the special consideration given to them in the design process. Some of his courses have hosted mini-tour events and professional qualifying rounds including the U.S. Open. His long experience in the building construction and land development fields in the United States, Jamaica, the Caribbean and Central America, has enabled him to bring to golf projects a very keen understanding of how design decisions affect the bottom line in a variety of environments, economies and locations.
