Caseville, Michigan, originally known as Port Elizabeth, is located at the mouth of Pigeon River on Saginaw Bay. It was settled in 1836 by Reuben Dodge, with lumbering as its early industry along with ship building and salt manufacturing. Home of Saginaw Bay's most beautiful sunsets, miles of sandy beaches, and unlimited recreational opportunities in its abundant woods and waters. Caseville is home to over 2,100 residents in its village and township boundaries, served by an excellent K through 12 school district and local government that truly cares about the needs of its residents. A medical center and nearby hospitals serve the health needs of the community. A volunteer fire department and full time police services help residents and visitors enjoy the safety and security of small town living.
