We have owned a small log cabin on South Lake Leelanau since 1981. It was a tiny, dark log cottage, (16' x 22') built in the 1930's. We added a small living area right away and used it for over 20 years. Lake Leelanau is a wonderful lake and we always said we would rebuild our cottage some day. We met Casey Edick in the fall of 2003 and started talking about our dream cottage. Soon we were underway with a major project that would more than double the existing space, including an upstairs. Today we have a light, airy, lovely cottage/home with three bedrooms, two baths, a large great room, an upstairs family room and a sunroom, the exterior is cedar half logs and the interior is knotty pine and drywall. We love it!!! Casey was always easy to work with. He called almost every day (as we were 140 miles away during construction). He creatively solved minor problems with our plans as they came up and was always willing to do what we wanted. The end result is fantastic! Please consider Casey as your builder. You won't be disappointed in his workmanship. You will get your money's worth with Casey. He builds a solid house, pays close attention to detail, and carefully follows a timetable.
