When the late Keath Cashner made the bold decision in 1959 to move his family from Michigan to Conroe, Texas, our community became the home of what is now one of the most prominent funeral service providers in Montgomery County Cashner Funeral Home & Cemeteries. Cashner's journey began when he purchased Montgomery County's only cemetery on Porter Road Conroe Memorial Park. His many years of cemetery experience, coupled with honest, fair and compassionate business practices, helped Cashner gain the community respect needed for steady growth. By the early 80's Cashner's deep commitment and personal involvement in the community helped him successfully build a funeral home on the grounds of his second cemetery, Garden Park Cemetery, now known as Cashner Funeral Home & Cemeteries.
