To meet these needs, Continuing Education offers professional development courses, community education courses, ABE/GED courses, and numerous workforce development options through the Center for Training and Development.

The goals of the club are to provide service to the community, education for OT assistant students concerning occupational therapy and professional socialization and comraderie for the students in the Occupational Therapy Program.

This clinical time is to solidify and put into practice all that has been learned to this point. The student will be able to apply the skills and knowledge gained in previous classroom and clinical experience in order to provide quality and appropriate patient care and transportation to the most appropriate facility. This will be accomplished through extensive clinical and field internship time as well as classroom time preparing for state and national certifying examinations, both written and practical.
