Castle Peak Veterinary Service is a small animal practice that has served clients and their pets in the Vail and Eagle Valleys for over 20 years. Founded in 1986, the practice is co-owned by Dr. Denny Simonton and Dr. Julie Hunter-Alt. Dr. Steve Conlin joined our practice as an associate veterinarian in 1994. If you need an Eagle Valley veterinarian, CPVS provides the highest quality of veterinary medicine, surgery, dentistry and boarding facilities through our main office in Eagle and medicine, surgery and dentistry at our satellite office in Edwards. The Eagle office has recently been renovated and expanded to create a state of the art facility that we are very proud of and that will better serve the needs of our clients and patients. In our Eagle clinic, we have boarding facilities for both dogs and cats with full-time, experienced kennel staff to assure comprehensive individual care for your pet seven days per week. We provide premium food or special diets upon request.

Julie is a graduate of Colorado College. She received her veterinary degree from University of California at Davis. After graduating from veterinary school, Julie moved to Eagle and opened Casle Peak Veterinary Service in 1986. While she has extensive experience in all aspects of general veterinary medicine, her primary areas of interest are in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Castle Peak Veterinary Service is pleased to welcome Dr. Jennfier Wells as a new associate veterinarian to our practice. Jennifer comes to us from Palatka, Florida, a small town in the northern part of the state. She has practiced small animal medicine for the past 18 years there after graduating from the University of Florida Veterinary School in 1995. Jennifer and her husband Bobby have spent portions of many winters and summers in Colorado on vacations and they have always dreamed of making the mountains their home. They are avid skiers and enjoy fishing and hiking with their two boxers Hydro and Splash. Jennifer brings a wealth of experience and skills in veterinary medicine and surgery to our practice. She looks forward to serving our clients and to becoming an active member of our valley community. We are happy to have her join the Castle Peak Family.
