The company was founded in 2011 by Christopher Cassel, a Primetime Emmy award-winning producer, writer and director who has spent the past decade circling the globe to bring the world’s greatest characters, memories and wonders into living rooms everywhere for networks including History, Discovery, Science, Animal Planet, A&E, TLC and Bravo.

Effective immediately, Claudina Del Guidice assumes the newly created role of Director of Development, based in New York. She will be responsible for the co-creation and development of original series in the reality, comedy and docu-drama arenas. Prior to joining Castle Pictures, Claudina was a founding member of the Peabody Award-winning Onion News Network, and produced for AT&T and Capital One. “Claudina is passionate about discovering new talent and creating entertaining content with a core purpose.

Chris’ experience in the history, science, vérité and docudrama realms is balanced with the comedic chops of a core staff that includes two of the founding producers at The Onion News Network .

Christopher Cassel is a Primetime Emmy Award-winning producer and President of Castle Pictures, a film and television production company based in New York City. Chris' credits have ranged from character-driven TV series to historical docudramas to biographical profiles of well-known public figures. He has created programming for Discovery, History, Animal Planet, Bravo, A&E, Discovery Health, and The Travel Channel, as well as DVD projects for retail distribution.

Cassel has spent the past decade circling the globe to bring the world's greatest characters and wonders to life on History, Discovery, Science, Animal Planet, A&E, TLC and Bravo.
