Description

To help address a member’s need for psychosocial treatment as part of recovery, OnTrak includes a network of psychosocial providers who are specially trained to deliver the OnTrak Relapse Prevention Program (ORPP). ORPP is an evidence-based program leveraging clinically proven practices that provide a sequence of Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and relapse prevention Cognitive-Behaviorial Therapy (CBT) modules designed to maintain abstinence from alcohol and drugs. The ORPP treatment platform is built upon data from the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA). As such, ORPP has substantial empirical support for its efficacy in the treatment of substance use disorders and is, therefore, evidence-based practice. ORPP includes the following components
