ASA offers a comprehensive suite of products to assist organizations in handling their registration and class/reservation management needs. ASAP software is used to process over 1,000,000 registrations every year.

Given this latest insight in to Finance's thinking, how can the field help with the commitment to provide dedicated funding already being obtained? First and foremost, we must continue to highlight the need for dedicated funding - ensuring Finance is unable to back away from its commitment. Second, K-12 based adult schools need to actively and forcefully participate in the regional consortia development and planning process at the local level. Participation is critical to the future of K-12 based education across the state.

Tony has been a member of CCAE LA Metro for over 20 years and continues his membership, support and service to CCAE as a retiree. He has been a participant in every event, conference, and community engagement activity that involves CCAE and adult education in the Los Angeles area. He has contributed with time and effort locally and at the state level through committee and volunteer work. You can always count on Tony to step up and lend a helping hand to ensure things get done. He is also committed to providing opportunities for students to continue their education.

Frankly, in a precarious position. We will be continuing to push for addressing flexibility in the current budget package and through the rest of the session. In this regard, another possible opportunity may be on the horizon – albeit not exactly in the form of eliminating or mitigating the issues associated with flexibility (at least not directly and immediately). Talks are currently taking place to gut and amend AB 18 (Brownley) to provide for a process to develop educational reforms that would get to the Governor’s goals.
