Community Christian School is the result of a vision of immigrants from the Netherlands almost a century ago. With much prayer and planning, they felt the Lord leading them in the Pease area for a school that focuses on a Christ-centered education. Community Christian School was founded in 1914. The immigrant parents were committed to the idea of providing an education that had God's Word as its core. That is still true to this date. Currently we are a school of 113 students in 4-Year-Old-Kindergarten through eighth grade.

Committed to excellence, Community Christian School strives to provide students with the tools necessary for a life of learning. Our goal is to instill a loving and compassionate spirit in each student at CCS. As stated in our Mission and Vision Statement, the center of our edcuational program is our belief in the Word of God. As with the Psalmist, we believe that God's Word is a lamp to our feet. We wish to enable our children to see God's hand and leading in all areas of life. We also wish to work hand in hand with the parents of our children sharing common values and educational goals.

A dedicated faculty, staff, and board enjoy working with His covenant children, fulfilling the mission to develop in each of God's children a knowledge and understanding of Christ and His creation so that they can obediently serve God and others as they work and play.
