Description

The Human Resources Department provides service in the areas of employment, compensation, labor and employee relations, management consultation, training, benefits and human resource information management systems to all Cedar Hill employees. Our department is committed to the highest standards of service and is continuously seeking to improve in all of these areas. Our office seeks to provide support to all employees, as well as effective and efficient communication of Cedar Hill policies and procedures.

The Special Education Department of CHISD is committed to providing individualized educational experiences to all students with special learning needs. Our mission is to provide the supplemental aids and services necessary to assist every CHISD student who receives special education, dyslexia, or Section 504 services to develop the knowledge and skills to excel in any endeavor they pursue.

Student Support & Community Services The mission of the Student Support and Community Services Department is to promote the health and safety of students through district, parent, and community resources. We provide preventative education, training, intervention, and resources to help students achieve greater success in school. The Department of Student Support and Community Services seeks to link community, school, and parent resources to build Developmental Assets in students.

Cedar Hill ISD Technology Department continues to build and refine our technology infrastructure as we endeavor to meet the technological needs of our students, staff, and community. Development of technology skills that are infused into the teaching and learning process will help to achieve our district's mission to develop life long learners and model citizens through the pursuit of academic excellence, individual leadership, and real life experiences.
