Description
The Kansas Standard of Excellence awards are given at the Grade and Building levels to schools that have met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in all students group. To receive the Kansas Standard of Excellence award at the grade or building level the building must have an accredited QPA status and have at least 25% of the students within the standard of excellent category. State assessments are given in math and reading to all students in grades 3-8 and once in high school.
