We are pleased to have supported Newark Symphony Hall's JAZZ MARATHON held Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am. (See photos of several of the artists below) The event was a huge success and was organized to kick off the NSH Revival Renovation Fund to rehabilitate the Hall and the Terrace Ballroom in downtown Newark, NJ. We hope, those of your who were able to attend, enjoyed the Wofabe: African Dance & Drum Festival on Friday & Saturday, October 19-20 at Arts High School in Newark, NJ. Visitors came from as far away as Chicago for this exhilarating festival which featured dance and drum classes, a panel discussion on Marketing African Dance Companies and a rousing closing performance on Saturday. CB&A did the publicity for this event and we're grateful to Robert Johnson of The Star-Ledger for his article and to Marcia Parris and Julie Chang from CW11 for their television coverage. We held our annual fundraiser Tea for Myasthenia Gravis on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the Robert Treat Hotel in downtown Newark, NJ. Please check out the photos and read about it under "News and Reviews." We are currently working on a Black History Month exhibition for Summit Medical Group in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
