Description

In 1928, Howard W. Allen incorporated Missouri, Kansas & Oklahoma Coach Lines, that grew to become aregional intercity carrier serving the nation's mid-section in both regular route and charterbus operations. Diversification efforts in the early 1970's established the company in the commercial real estate business under the name of Venture Properties . Overhauling the corporate structure in the late 1980's, prior to the disposal of the bus operating division, the corporate name was changed to H W Allen Co. in tribute to the founder.
