CCBT always is seeking to add independent practicing affiliates who are licensed to practice independently in Ohio. If you own a small practice in Ohio, and want to become a part of CCBT, we provide state-of-the-art practice supports and technology to promote both your clinical skills and the business of your practice. If you join CCBT in Columbus, we offer a comfortable and supportive environment for you to apply your clinical tools and skills. Practitioners with already developed caseloads are welcome, but newly licensed individuals with training in CBT are also welcome.

The Center provides several licensed professionals who have training and experience in both Civil and Criminal proceedings. Expert testimony as well as consultations on trial issues are available. Areas that are often requested relate to school law, domestic relations issues including custody evaluations, competency to testify, reliability of child abuse investigations, juvenile offender mitigation, and retardation related to the death-penalty. Our staff include psychologists with experience in prisons, youth offender facilities, domestic relations courts, and juvenile/probate courts.

Barb Harris is a Licensed Independent Social Worker at the Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, She received her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University and completed a 3 year post graduate training program from The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland with specialization in couples and group therapy. She has been practiving for over 20 years. She specialized in mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, couples counseling and older adult issues. She is also certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. She sees adults.

Joe Catania is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (Supervisor) at the Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy. He received his Masters of Social Work from the Ohio State University . He has been practicing for over 20 years. He specializes in substance abuse, marriage/couples counseling, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other issues pertaining to returning to returning military members. He sees adolescents and adults.

Sarah Shearer is a Licensed Practicing Clinical Counselor at the Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy. She received her Masters of Clinical Counseling from the Ohio State University. She has been practicing for over 19 years. She specializes in depression, anxiety, marriage/couples counseling, substance abuse, women’s issues, mood disorders, and adjustment disorders. She sees men, women, and adolescents of all ages.
