please note. Although our center has the same studio name as that of the center for dance arts II in Winsted. We have two separate owners and operate as sole proprietors Miss Yvonne has a Diploma in dance and theater arts. She has been a certified teacher for 23 yrs. The studio has won over 1550 awards in the 20 years it has been in business. Jazz,tap,acro,lyrical,ballet, and production kickline.along with preschool dance. Miss Yvonne continues her dance education every summer by attending a dance teachers seminar. Both Miss Yvonne and Miss Carissa just returned from a preschool training seminar/workshop.Miss Carissa Monroe- jazz,tap,ballet,acro. Miss Carissa is also a national championship winner. Her solo jazz won a first place in her category of 15 dancers. This is her fourth year of teaching for us. She has been a student of the center for dance arts for 13yrs. She has attended four dance teacher seminars and will attend her 3rd year of training with dance masters in their teacher certification program this summer. She is also teaching at the winsted center for dance arts studio ii. We are proud to call her ours!
