Central Florida Winds draws on talent from professional players, retired professional musicians, talented music teachers, and the elite, in the ranks of high-school and college students. The geographic footprint of Central Florida Winds and Chamber Winds (which began in the fall of 2001) includes all of Brevard County, North to Deland, South to Port St. Lucie, and West to Lakeland.
