Description

There is no substitute for accuracy in our business. To help maintain the quality of our products and to meet the standards of our customers, Central Pattern places great importance on accurate inspection. We have a temperature controlled room used exclusively for CMM and manual layout inspections. Using our Mitutoyo CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine, we have a measuring envelope of 48" (X) x 80" (Y) x 40"(Z). For larger parts or for rough castings, we have the experience and the knowledge of manual layout and inspection techniques.

At Central Pattern, we specialize in making short lead-time prototype tooling / prototype castings from wood, plastic, and rapid prototyping materials. We will work closely with your team to develop a functional tool in the shortest possible time. We understand that prototype tooling has different requirements than a production tool and use this understanding to achieve the shortest production schedule while maintaining the quality and accuracy that is synonymous with Central Pattern.

We take pride in our long history of working with America's largest corporations in their engine development programs, and consider engine work one of our specialties. In addition to our skills in production sand casting tooling, we also produce permanent molds, wax molds for investment casting, and injection molds for the plastics industry. Whatever your application may be, Central Pattern is the best choice for production patterns, molds, and core-setting fixtures.

Central Pattern Company fully supports the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the "Dodd-Frank Act"). In August 2012, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted the Conflict Minerals Final Rule to implement Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act. Section 1502 requires all US publicly traded companies to file disclosures and reports with the SEC related to the use of "Conflict Minerals" in their products. Central Pattern has no legislative obligations to comply with the Conflict Minerals requirements covered in Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act.

Central Pattern is partnered with a captive iron and aluminum sand casting foundry with heat treating facilities. With this partnership, we avoid the problems that other suppliers have with foundry schedules not matching required delivery dates. Since our partner foundry only does casting work for Central Pattern, we have the ability to schedule jobs to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers.
