We have been supplying the highest quality Wood Shavings and Rice Hulls in California and all the west for over 10 years. Our success is based on our uncompromising dedication to the highest standards in quality and customer satisfaction.

The parent company of CVC Shavings of Fresno is Gene Hull Trucking, Inc. a family business founded in 1986. In 1995 husband and wife team Gene and LeeAnn Hull expanded their trucking business to four units and by the end of 1998 had grown to a company of 13 units. They now have a fleet of 40 sets of double trailers and 20 tractors and sub haulers that are specifically designed for the shavings and sawmill by-products they haul and sell.

This year has been especially exciting for us as we opened a new shavings packing facility in Northern California’s Yuba City. The new, state-of-the-art facility enables CVC to bag its various products of wood shavings and rice hulls. The location is in close proximity to the shavings and hulls source so transportation costs are minimal for us. And, as has been our tradition for almost 15 years, when we spend less, our customers do, too.
