Inc. develops and markets a proprietary line of microprocessor based boilercontrol products. It has been actively engaged in this business for over thepast twelve years. Excessive energy consumption and pollution control are recognized assignificant problems to be addressed now and in the future. More than a half adozen states and Canada have already mandated installation of "BACT" (Best
Available Control Technology) on tens of thousands of boilers. Governmentalconsortia including the Southern California Air Quality District and NESCAUM
(Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management) are also mandatingemission standards for boilers. Companies, like Century, which offer productsaddressing this problem, expect to see expanding markets for their products withincreasing environmental consciousness and government regulation.
